Sea-struck since growing up in Buffalo, NY, I’ve been on boats my entire life. As a kid I’d go out when the wind picked up to sail the steep breakers forming over shallow Lake Erie waters. Since then, my career in the marine industry has been diverse. I took jobs on everything from charter boats to work boats, I worked in a chandlery, attended a maritime college and even became crew on one of the largest motor yachts in the world. Everywhere I went, I tried to learn as much as I could.
For a time, I stepped away from the water to do what everyone else does, pursue a more traditional career on land. I learned to code, and wrote software for two of Boston’s leading startups. But, I quickly realized that what I love more than anything is the mechanical realm. I have a penchant for keeping systems running, and I consider myself lucky to be doing what I love.
Think of me when you need to hire someone who understands that some projects require twice the time in planning, than in execution. If you own a sea-going vessel, it's likely to be your favorite possession. So, I would consider it a privilege to be your first call for service or upgrades.
BoatRx is not just my business, it’s the fulfillment of a dream- built over a lifetime.
